What's the point of the 17th to 24th fret lmao?

I’m totally blind,easo when I play a very nice guitar like this one, the sound is everything. I played a concert breedlove today at a local music store. It sounded fantastic. The guitar I played also had Murtle wood back and a spruce top. I haven’t got to play a concherto which I know is a little bigger then the concert model. I don’t know the difference in sound between the two. I really like the concert model I played. I don’t know if I’ll get that guitar, or see if my music store can order a concherrto so I can find out which I like better. The concert guitar was so comfortable to hold and to play. I didn’t want to give it back.

Can never understand when building a guitar from scratch why you'd want to live with compromises. For example, Leo Fender used string trees so he could make a guitar (cheaper) by using a thin piece of wood for the neck to save money. Had he wanted to spend extra, the headstock angle would have been tilted back (like Gibson) to avoid using string trees. So why when building something from scratch would you want to emulate that budget method? I see Fortus also uses only three bridge saddles instead of 6. This is odd, especially when even George Fullerton said that the early 3 saddle design was impossible to intonate because it was a compromise, yet here we see Fortus using just 3 saddles. I also note that the pole pieces on the pickups are way off (especially on the top e-string) It also only has 21 frets and no access to the trust rod! He has a couple of interesting ideas, but for an expensive custom built guitar, he keeps all the "vintage" budget shortcomings. But as long as he's happy! 😬

I don't think a Santa Cruz guitar needs to be drop tuned to sound good Unless somebody watching doesn't know the difference. Still a fabulous sounding guitar in any tuning!

Why is the toggle switch in that position? I own that same guitar and the switch is up where “it’s supposed to be.”

Considering a Furch but they all see to be very bright tone wise. Not sure if its the recording or they are just on the bright side of the tone spectrum

How does the 0-40R differ from the P-03R?

I tend to dislike classical guitars that are electrified I really like acoustic classical guitars better where you could really push the instrument and allow it to breathe and to really give it some depth and power unfortunately this classical guitar sounds thin doesn't have a big sound stage and the neck profile is a very thin this classical plays more like an acoustic guitar than a classical I would like to see this gentleman pick up a non-electric classical and play again and I can guarantee you that the sound between what he's doing now and what he will do with a non-amplified classical guitar will really be interesting and tonally you'll be able to really hear the difference so I'd like to hear this guy play classical guitar that's not electric
